A very nicely done site, Ben! And a great addition to on-web Flxible knowledge! Thanks for doing this, and thank you for allowing Flxible Owner's Association to include a link on our web site!

In 1964 my Dad drug a 1951 Flx out from under a tree in a pasture where the local kids had turned it into a clubhouse, motor long gone & every remaining seat was bleeding it's stuffing.
Twelve months later, with us kids "helping" he had installed a new Buick Straight 8, rebuildt the transmission & differential and turned that Maroon & white hulk into the completely finished Blue & White "Iteldo" that graced many a MN Bus Club events & transported the 5 of us kids all over America. What an education!
It was a Starship to understanding.
Thanks for provoking some great memories and providing the absolute best site for info on these wonderful machines.
F-842 still rolls somewhere in the Midwest I was told, we were able to experience her for just 5 short years, 45 yrs. ago this summer

Vintage car is great, I love the first picture which is the old one.

Great site. Over the years I've owned every model Flxible built with the exception of a Visicoach. I'm now in the process of restoring my favorite: a 1957 raised roof StarLiner.

I appreciate the studied approach to this subject. I look forward to learning from you. I have a VL100 and A Visicoach Sightseer 21 pass. and love the coaches.
