Heading to Las Vegas for PMA

Plane_2_1

I'm flying out today to speak at and attend the PMA trade show. I'll be spending the first morning shooting the Racetrack in Death Valley and the last day shooting the Neon Graveyard at the end of the strip.

I'm still not caught up on all my commitments, but I've been making great strides in my photographic processing techniques, which means you should start to see some unique treatments on my upcoming Route 66 images.

Will you be selling any of your DVD's at the show??

I highly suggest getting out to the Racetrack in Death Valley well before sunrise. The road before the last rains, driving from Furnace Creek took about 2.5 hours. You are in luck, the race track had been closed, as listed on the Death Valley Morning report, check for other closures. The temperatures are much colder there than in the valley, dress in layers.

Hi Jeffrey,

I made it to the racetrack this morning. I got up quite early, but couldn't help myself when I came to the tea kettle junction... I just had to do some light painting. The racetrack was fun, but cold.

Hey Ben,

It's nice to have you back, I've been accesing your site for the past yrs and I always find great tips, if fact last december I took a trip to lower antelope canyon and was able to get great shots. btw Looking forward to learn about new techniques.

I'll see you on the road!

Best!

Hey Ben...what did u talk about/lecture/teach at PMA 08?

I spoke to a group of sports photographers on how to transform their images from average to greatness.

It was only 50 minutes long, so I didn't have time to get into much more.
