Remembering Bosque Del Apache

I took the photograph above at the beginning of last winter when visiting Bosque Del Apache in New Mexico.

Processing Notes: This image was processed using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. I adjusted the Blacks slider until the birds turned black and then adjusted the parametric curve to exaggerate the contrast in areas. Finally, I used white balance and split toning to force yellow/orange into the image to supliment the color of the sunrise I was shooting.

Gorgeous! The bird in the tree and the birds on the ground silhouetted against the golden background ... a beautiful composition indeed.
