Manhattan Skyline at Night

I took the photograph above from Jay Maisel's rooftop while attending his workshop. The image was cropped and processed in Adobe Camera Raw. The main thing I did was to bring up the Fill Light slider and Blacks slider to brighten the buildings while maintaining an area of black within the image.

Ben, i'm considering a Jay Maisel workshop in June. I'm in Australia though so it'll be very expensive. What is a summary of your thoughts on your workshop with him that might sway me either way.
