Sony Announces GPS for Digital Cameras

Sony

Sony just announced a little $150 device that will tag all the photos you take with GPS location data. It works by recording your position and time of day and then matching up the date stamp on each of your photos. I've been wanting something like this ever since I started to shoot digitally and am amazed that GPS is not included on most higher-end digital cameras.

Hey Ben!

What parks are you heading to next?

I use this and it works, but if you DONT have a SONY camera then you will need extra software. Yep, those SOB's at SONY always manage to f**k people in the ass, I reccomend RoboGEO - its brilliant. Think of Getright and all its features!!!

Anyway, I'm looking for something else now, with a bit more power. Because I like in London the buildings can distort and even stop the signal sometimes which kind of renders the GPS unit redundant.
