You can ignore this post. I'm just testing some new blog writing software that should make it easier for me to post on a regular basis by allowing me to easily write posts when I'm not on-line.

Ben, I highly recommend Ecto. It works very well with TypePad. I've been using it for almost a year.

Hi Michael,
The one thing I haven't figured out how to do in Ecto is to setup a queue of posts that will automatically be posted at a later date (something that is easy in TypePad). Other than that, I really like Ecto.

Ben
I asked Adriaan about exactly what you are looking for Ecto to do - queing up posts - and the answer was it can't be technically done (though I have a sneaking suspicion he is working on a solution).

If I can set a kitchen timer to click the publish button, then it should be possible. The main thing is that my computer would need to be on-line at the time.
TypePad has this feature, I'm wondering if he could tap into it so that it's posted within the TypePad system that way.
That's the sole reason that I might not use Ecto all the time.
Thanks for looking into it for me.
