My Travel Alarm

I used to rely on my cell phone as my alarm clock while traveling, but after having missed a important appointment, I've recently replaced it with this. It's a 256MB MP3 player (also available with 512MB), alarm clock and serves as external speakers when I'm watching a movie via my laptop. It comes in a nice, snug fitting zippered case, has rechargeable batteries and can be purchased for around $150.
