Yesterday Adobe announced that they've put together a directory of professional photographers that will be accessible directly from Adobe products. Adobe has partnered with the American Society of Media Photographers and the Advertising Photographers of America to populate the directory.

Yesterday, Adobe accidentally posted a press release announcing the next version of Photoshop! It looks like they planned to make the announcement on April 4th since that's the date of on the press release. Adobe has since removed the document from their web site, but you can still read it by simply reading the rest of this post!
I've been using the Pelican PCS172 soft-sided briefcase for a year or so. It's the first wheeled briefcase I've found that can simultaneously hold my laptop, my tiny projector, my Canon 20D digital SLR camera, five lenses (including my 100-400mm) and all the accessories associated with all that stuff. When packed properly it will fit under many airline seats (although many of the newer planes have video in the headrest which also adds a box under the seat which forces me to put this bag in the overhead bin).
If you want the ultimate system for attaching your camera to a tripod, then check out Really Right Stuff's quick release clamps and camera L brackets. They allow you to securely attach your camera to the tripod in about one second (for vertical or horizontal shots) and when done properly, the camera will not move a millimeter. I've been using this system for years and have found nothing better.

One of the most interesting and fun lens has been upgraded... the Lensbaby 2.0 has been born. The new version features a wider aperture, better glass and other improvements. This inexpensive tilt-shift lens allows you to take amazing selective focus images. I have one for each of my Canon cameras and it's also available in a Nikon mount (as well as a few others). The original Lensbaby is still available for $96 and the new 2.0 is now $150.
